Another X-Men: Evolution romance fanvid, this time the couple of Jean Grey and Scott Summers. It was no more immediate than the others, but two had something unique to them, a psychic bond. One made from the time than Jean's powers began to exceed what they were at the time. Scott got through to her and ever since the two were working towards being together. Several twists finally led them to finally get together includhing how people reacted to the news that they were mutants. In particular, Duncan whom Jean dated and Taryn who was initially jealous of Jean. Jean dumped Duncan for his problem view of her powers and Taryn ditched Scott over his powers. Scott is misled to go to Mexico City thinking his brother needs help, in reality its Mystique in disguise. She repeatedly attempts to 'repay' him for trapping her in Area 51. The X-Men and the Brotherhood reluctantly teamed up against Magneto's Acolytes prior to Reckoning. They were exposed, some evaded captured, others were taken, and so they went together to free them. During the exfil, Scott shuts the hatch behind him leaving Mystique trapped there. He demands she reveal the missing Prof. Xavier's location since she had assumed his form. She refuses and gets left there. The alliance is broken up, and they eventually find Xavier after their second run-in with Juggernaut in the series. Back to the somewhat present, Scott has again been deprived of his ruby quartz sunglasses. The only kind that allow him to open his eyes ...
