I know there’s talk of a deleted scene where Roady READ THE INSTRUCTION BOOK before he got in the suit. But even if he had, that’s no excuse! I could pick up how to operate a super-computer for dummies and read it in a day, but that doesn’t mean that i’ll be able to jump on the nearest super computer and operate it like a master! I could go on but i’m already clouding up the forum. It’s not bad, but it nowhere NEAR as good as everyone says it is. IRON MAN 1 ALL THE WAY!

I mean, I half exepcted….whatever his name was to come up to Tony in the whiplash suit, and go, “I will break you.” Also, I had a HUGE problem for some reason about how easily Roady operated the Warmachine the first time he got in it. I mean in the first movie, it took Tony Stark like a week to figure out how to handle he iron man suit properly. But Roady decides to jump in a random suit, and he pilots it like a pro!! I mean, WHAT?!

And whiplash just wasn’t a memorible villain. I think they were going for the insane genious thing with him, but he just seemed like a stereo typical james bond villain with superpowers. I mean look at Obadiah from the first movie. The story of a good friend who is corrupted by greed and turns on his brother, eventually spirally into madness makes a great villain! And Kevin Flynn’s preference was great, just because of how nicely evil he came off as (he was evil, but he was having fun with it).

I mean the first one had just enough dialog do develop the characters properly, and keep us entertained. I mean, the Dark Knight had ALOT of talking, but it was made alright because the characters were so interesting (joker’s always fun to watch). The only really interesting character in this movie, was Tony Stark who honestly came off as sort of an ass-hole. I mean he’s supposed to be egotistical, and he was sort of funny sometimes, but I think they really went overboard with him in this one.

don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind movies with alot of dialog. Shawshank Redemption is one of my favorite movies of all time, and it has next to no action in it. But IM2 is a SUPERHERO MOVIE! When I see a SUPERHERO MOVIE, i expect to see superheros beating the crap out of super villains. And while I agree that to much action would had made the characters shallow and undeveloped, they could had done with better spacing between the scenes…

And honestly, the action scenes weren’t even all that good. The final one was nice, but I was wanting to see less of the robots and more of Whiplash! After all, isn’t he the villain we all came to see? And honestly, he looked damn good when he finally came out, much better than the ridiculous spandex wearing circus clown in the cartoon show. But they only fought for like, 10 minutes and then Iron Man and War Machine do their little “kame-hame-ha!” thing and he’s finished! What a disappointment.

People are saying that IM2 had more action scenes than IM, but if you count it up, it really doesn’t in fact it has just as many. The difference is that IM had a nice space between action scenes, just when you started to lose interest they gave you an action scene. With this one, there was so much dialog that I just lost interest. Don’t get me wrong, the last 30 minutes of IM2 were fantastic! But the rest of the movie just felt lacking, like it should had been called Tony Stark 2 instead.

Iron Man 1 because the action in Iron Man 2 was kind of boring (except him on the racetrack)

I liked Ironman 2 simply because of the edition of Warmachine he is awesome

I think I liked the first Iron Man more. I am a fan of origin stories and I liked Tony Stark realizing what a douche he was for profiting off of warfare and all the politics behind it. Plus the action was more fun.
