The X-Men track him down, and it turns out that he suffers from multiple personality disorder, and that his dominant malicious personality, called Lucas, overwhelmed him. In the end, Lucas defeats the X-Men and breaks free.

@grabblebyk No,no, it’s normal! Even in the comic book, Xavier’s son is stronger than Jean until she became the Phoenix. Actually, even with the Phoenix’s powers, she have a very hard time fighting him. In X-Men evolution, she’s not the Phoenix yet (She became the Phoenix only later, when she’s an adult) so it’s just normal that she’s so weak compared to the older cartoon, the movies and the comic books…

David /Ian /Lucas are really (later, maybe, if the show wasn’t discontinued) called Legion after the biblical demon of same name. He was a man possessed by many evil spirits and was asked by Jesus what his name was, to which he replied “My name is Legion, for we are many”.

hi #VIDEOPOSTERID#, excellent quality! It certainly way too bad that youtube will never allow you to watch complete episodes as well as movies otherwise youtube would probably possibly be perfect. Which is precisely why I RANDSET(use|started using|depend on|go with|go to|head over to)# stream episodes (dot) net instead in order to enjoy all the tv episodes and movies that youtube does not have

Nice episode, although its annoying everytime a strong mutant disappears, a new one emerge. Truely these seasons has gotten worse without Magneto!!

oh my god jean was so weak when fighting lucas. i think she caould probably handle him. or at least put up a better fight. a couple of episodes ago she stopped a huge explosion from that train and she was levitating planes and stuff. she is one of the most powerful mutants but she is shown to be soo weak on this show. shes all “i cant hold it” and “its too much!”
