Green Lantern The Movie
Green Lantern Movie Trailer from www.mikeafford.com - A brand new version of the Green Lantern trailer - 3D modelling in Cinema 4D, some artworking in Photoshop, post production in After Effects CS3, grading with Magic Bullet 'Looks' which I do rate very highly. Movie uploaded as 320x240 FLV (25fps, 350kbps, audio 192kbps stereo - but it still gets re-compressed right - is there any way of avoiding this I wonder??) By the way - yes, John is black, Hal is white, Kyle is a bit Mexican apparently, and Guy Gardner is kind of ginger looking. I don't know which might appear in a real movie if it ever happens (**update Aug 09 - it's Hal Jordan, being played by Ryan Reynolds**). Hopefully all of them, and also Sinestro (magenta) and the Guardians (pale blue). Anyway i do hope everyone likes my trailer. Comments welcome. Although don't expect a prize for just saying 'Fake'. Of course it's a fake. Anyone who's seen Transformers, Daredevil or Smallville should be able to spot that without too much trouble. And also, the music is Lux Aeterna Requiem for a Dream, and yes it IS used a lot. Or so I've been told. Over and over again. I haven't seen another one using the same track personally, but then I don't tend to go to YouTube for trailers as they're mostly rubbish 
So anyway, if you leave a comment like "why does everyone use this f**king music you dumbass" there's a very good chance I'll delete it. Well done to those who noticed that 'this summer' doesn't quite tally with 'coming ...

I thought it was well put together, the music wasn’t bad, I might have chosen something else, but it’s your work not mine. So kudos for it.

when green lantern, posseses all the rings including the yellow one, he’s unstoppable, trust me. i use 2 read comics all the time. he’s my favorite super hero, but i cant forget the billionaire playboy, Bruce Wayne. i like his style too.

I was on spring break to New Orleans, and they were setting up the “set” for this movie. It was pretty awesome.

@8ba1l yeah watchmen should get some praise it stayed true to the novel and i think that’s where it fell short.

@bukster1 antastic 4 got the best it would get it was really chessy anyway and it was stan real first work so he got good at writting a certain comical yet deep story when spidey and x men came in.

Somebody making the movies clearly decided that the Fantastic 4 movies should just be kids films. I can see that they are not as serious as characters like Batman. However I think Fantastic 4 could have both been done a lot better.
Let’s hope Green Lantern is a better effort. I’ll look forward to it.

when they do bring out a green lantern film i hope its better than watchmen, not as though watchmen wasnt good but it could have been better. same goes for the fantastic 4 films

@CraigMerighe It is requiem for a dream and it is the most over used song in movie trailers.
