@RedDragon7777 Yeah he was a Red Lantern but only for two episodes. The last copy I read of the Green Lantern Corps (last week) he was back to being a green fighting machine.

@JPHJ14 The order is Alan Scott (1940), Hal Jordan (1959), Guy Gardner (1968), John Stewart (1971) & Kyle Rayner (1994). You could also include Jade (Alan Scott’s daughter).

The Green Lantern Corp is made up of many Lanterns chosen from different sectors of space. Basically they are an intergalactic police force.

The original Green Lantern was Alan Scott and the ring’s weakness was wood. In the early 60s the idea of the Green Lantern Corps showed up In the comic Showcase, and Hal Jordan took the mantle as the green lantern for earth’s sector. Those rings had a weakness against yellow.
John Stewart and Guy Gardener were both “back-up” lanterns. Stewart took over shortly in the mid-80s 1995 Kyle Rayner took the mantle. There has been at least one other human Lantern posted offworld, Valentine?

@sbr76…
Excuse me, idiot-man, but in the early 70′s DC Comics themselves chose to make John Sterwart black. No pressure from any blacks anywhere. How about checking facts before spewing racist slant, jackass…!!!
